
We are looking to hire a competent and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company’s financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, monitoring transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory and internal financial procedures.
* Record, classify, and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management review.
* Reconcile bank statements and monitor account balances.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
* Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents.
* Monitor company expenses and ensure proper cost control.
* Assist in payroll preparation and statutory remittances.
* Prepare financial statements and support budgeting processes.
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial obligations.
* Maintain proper documentation and filing of all accounting records.
* Support internal and external audit processes when required.
* Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
* 3–5 years proven work experience as an Accountant.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
* Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
* High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
* Must reside within Okota or nearby vicinity for ease of commute.
